.All of our grills are coated with a boiled linseed oil. Boiled linseed oil is so much more resistant to heat then paint and more user friendly for reapplying a new coat for a new looking grill. The grill will come with one coat; however, your grill will quickly need another coat. We find that after the 3rd coat and getting the grill hot the coating last much longer.
