Don't be fooled by the simplicity of this smoker, it's a beast and can make the best BBQ you've ever had. This unit is intended to be simple yet work flawlessly. The main chamber is 3/8" thick 24"x48" with a 24"x24" fire box 3/8" material. Unit comes standard with a adjustable baffle by the fire box to control the amount of direct heat to the cooking grate. The cooking grate is the size of the main chamber and does not pull out. We do this to increase the size, unless you upgrade to tuning plates and movable smokestack then the bottom grate slides out to allow better access to the tuning plates.
